Will Mike Pence Overturn Election on January 6th?
Many people on the republican side are certainly hoping so. It was a rigged election in the eyes of a majority of Trump voters. They believe there was widespread cheating.
In short, they want answers.
On The Other Side
On the other side you have the Democrats seeking to claim “the most secure election in history.”
In addition you have the tech giants and mainstream media both siding with the Democrats and calling all claims of voter fraud “baseless.”
Who’s Right?
Neither side is ceding any ground in this case. Both sides are firmly standing with their views.
When it comes to whether Mike Pence can “overturn” the election it isn’t a matter of whether or not voter fraud occurred.
Constitutionality is the only matter in question.
The question is, “Does Mike Pence have the constitutional authority to take actions that will affect who is elected president on January 20, 2021?”
Dueling Electors
While the mainstream media is quick to claim that Joe Biden has been certified as the president-elect, they are also quick to leave out the fact that several states sent “dueling electors.” So, these states have not picked a clear winner.
This is where the constitutionality comes in. In the case of dueling electors Mike Pence, as Senate President, can throw out electoral votes from dueling electors.
So voter fraud isn’t the issue on January 6th. The question is whether or not it is constitutional for him to throw out electoral votes.
The answer is it is his constitutional duty to throw out the dueling electors. Therefore it is not a matter of mainstream media opinion.
The Election Is Not Decided by Mike Pence
I am not a constitutional scholar. What I said above is what seems to be the case. I could very well be wrong.
However, I am correct in saying that what will decide the election is not Mike Pence. The constitution will decide the election. Mike Pence is simply an instrument in the constitutional process.
The Media Are Biased
If you’re reading this I’m sure you already realize that the Media are currently heavily biased towards the left.
They are more biased towards money however.
The reason for the bias is evidenced in the campaign contributions given to Joe Biden. The Media and Tech Giants funded Joe Biden. It should be no surprise that their coverage is very pro Biden.
They are after money in other ways as well. Being controversial and polarizing is what brings them clicks online and views on the air. Citizens being polarized benefits them the most. They don’t want any of this “unity” that is being talked about by the Democrats. What they want is division. They have it too.
What will Mike Pence do? Who knows. We’ll have to wait until January 6th.
